Our customer produces packaging foils that are visually inspected several times a day. The existing inspection system operated reliably under normal conditions but was prone to malfunctions. In the event of a breakdown, deliveries came to a standstill, resulting in high risk costs.
The goal was to permanently secure inspection reliability, avoid failures, and modernize the visual inspection process—without disrupting the ongoing production flow.
The existing inspection system had only limited failure tolerance, where even minor malfunctions or defects could cause significant disruptions in the inspection process.

Durch das fehlerhafte Bestücken von Leiterplatten, wurde mit einer zu hohen Ausschussquote gefertigt.
Da die Prüfergebnisse nicht digitalisiert waren, wurde keine strukturierte Ursachenanalyse für die Produktion von NOK-Teilen durchgeführt.
Alle Produkte werden 100 % automatisch nach einer präzisen Fehlerdefinition geprüft. Die Bedienung der Prüfanlage erfolgt durch einen Mitarbeitenden pro Schicht.
Seit der Installation von Maddox AI wurde die Ausschussquote um 25 % reduziert.
Dank des digitalisierten Prüfprozesses konnten Prozessoptimierungen realisiert werden (z.B. direkter Feedbackloop zur Maschineneinstellung).
